Generally speakin', there is much about being - State-Side - which makes you feel you're not ALL that far away from the good old UK. There are some quite subtle differences; little nuances, that remind you you're not perambulatin' around the streets of Edinburgh or London.
And then there's the big 'IN YER FACE' ones!
You just have to read the signs 😐
